Corinne Bell-Rummel, Ph.D. is a Psychologist licensed as a Health Service Provider who received her doctorate from the University of Tennessee in 1985. She was first licensed in 1979 with her Master’s degree. Since that time, Dr. Bell has been in private practice and providing child and adult psychological services in the greater East Tennessee area. Services include individual and family therapy and diagnostic evaluations for all ages relating to psychological, health, disability, academic, developmental, child custody, law enforcement, pre-employment, and vocational issues. She also provides Independent Medical Exams.
Dr. Bell specializes in child and family psychology, parenting, EMDR therapy for trauma and anxiety, and attorney consultation regarding personal injury and family issues. Throughout her career Dr. Bell has provided services to Juvenile and Civil Courts throughout East Tennessee. She is certified by the State Supreme Court as a Rule 31 Family Mediator.
Service in her professional community has been a priority. Dr. Bell previously served as East Tennessee Vice President, Public Relations Chair, and on the Board of Directors for Tennessee Psychological Association. She has also served as President, Treasurer, Public Relations Chair, and been on the Board of Directors for Knoxville Area Psychological Association.
Commitment to community service has been evidenced by involvement with several local agencies. She has served on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Children’s Center of Knoxville, the Sexual Assault Crisis Center, and also on Advisory Boards for John Tarleton Children’s home and Florence Crittendon Agency. Dr. Bell has participated on the Child Abuse Review Team of Knox County for twelve years. She is a member of the Executive Women’s Association (EWA) of Knoxville and Knoxville Association of Women Executives (KAWE). She attends St. James Episcopal church where she has taught church school and sung in the chancel choir. |
